Our Why
Choosing to live in a tiny RV, full-time seems a little crazy at first. Smaller kitchens and tiny stoves, shorter showers and no tub, limited storage and smaller closest’s. But what this lifestyle does give you, outweighs any space issue.
See, we are made to believe that we only achieve happiness when we have the biggest house, the pretty decor and the jazzy cars. But that’s just not true. When you pass away you aren’t remembered for the car you drove, you’re remembered for the person you are, the lives you touched and the journeys you conquered.
I know first hand because I was one of these people. I thought material things would make me happy. And I was wrong.
When we transferred into RV living, we choose too because of Kory’s job. He is an x-ray tech on the pipeline and sometimes we move very frequently. What we’ve experienced, what we have felt, who we’ve shaped into, is exhilarating.
I am constantly searching for new places to explore and thats something I never did before. When I wake up, I open all my windows and take in the new views around me. It makes me feel grateful, calm, excited, adventures, free. Not having so many ‘things’ is actually a really free feeling. It allows you more time to play, more time to explore and more time to be present with the people I love most.
Converting our lifestyles has taught me that there’s more to live for. That there’s more to see and explore. And I feel like we are just getting started.
Our why is simple: less ‘things’ – more experiences.
We hope you join our biggest journey yet!
